We just can%26#39;t decide between these two hotels, Le St. Gregoire and Villa d%26#39;Estrees! I haven%26#39;t been to Paris for over 10 years, and we%26#39;ll only be there for 3 days! In a nutshell, we love to walk, enjoy listening to jazz, and over 40 years old. We plan to see the major sites, do a little shopping, walk along the Seine, cruise it at night, catch a show at the Lido or Moulin Rouge, and eat croissants and dine on some fabulous French cuisine!

For what you want, the Villa d%26#39;Estrées%26#39; location is probably the best. The hotel is also known for having large rooms, rate in Paris.

The St. Gregoire has a traditional decor whereas the Villa d%26#39; Estrees has a modern look. Personally the St. Gregoire looks more appealing than the Villa d%26#39;Estrees and is close to the Bon Marche department store and it%26#39;s not that far to walk to the Seine.

I%26#39;d go with the St. Grégoire. First, it%26#39;s not in the middle of all, but still very well located. M°: Saint-Placide or Sèvres-Babylone.
Also, not far from Le Bon Marché and lots of nice shopping streets like Rue Saint-Placide, Rue du Cherche-Midi, etc.
Frankly, it doesn%26#39;t really matter all that much where exactly you%26#39;re located. The metro is always nearby just like some great neighbourhood bistrots, cafés, etc.
