Getting from Villefranche to Eze to Monaco and back

Our cruise ship will dock in Villefranche from 10 to 11 this summer. We would like to spend half the day going to Eze and Monaco before returning to relax a few hours in Villefranche.

What%26#39;s best way to do this? Hire a private van for four hours or can we get cabs from spot to spot? Any other suggestions?

I think a taxi would be the most comfortable way to go to Eze and then to Monaco, but perhaps that%26#39;s a question of availability if a lot of passengers want to take a taxi. I%26#39;ve only been to Nice and Monaco and don%26#39;t know anything about Villefranche, so I%26#39;d suggest to contact their tourist office:

There%26#39;s a bus from Monaco to Villefranche:

Or take the train back to Villefranche.

Gon thi www.allaboutnice.com and check the ATS shuttle company. I know they carry people back and forth for airports but maybe they can help you.

You can take the train from VilleFranche to Eze Sur Mer, they run about every ten minutes. Once in Eze Sur Mer, just outside the train station on the base corniche, there is a shuttle bus that takes you up to Eze village for less than 5 euros. The shuttle runs every 20-30 minutes. You can also take the train into Monaco from VilleFranche -- the ride to Eze and Monaco from Villefranche isn%26#39;t mroe then 15-20 minutes in each direction.

latte_fan, I don%26#39;t think there%26#39;re trains every 10 minutes. There%26#39;s the schedule:

As you have time constraints, you might look at a taxi because I did the train and bus to Eze. Waited for over an hour for the bus back to Eze Sur Mer and then quite a while for a train back to Villefranche.
