I have been browsing options for getting around Paris when we visit in June - metro, tour bus, boat. I have checked the posts regarding carte orange, Paris Visite carnets etc. which I have found very helpful.
I have found information about a 3 day a la carte ticket for 39euro which allows unlimited access to the batoboat and the L%26#39;opentop bus. I also see that I can buy a book of 10 metro tickets for around 11 euro. We don%26#39;t mind walking but would like the option of public transport if we get too tired! Would it be worthwhile purchasing or are we likely to end up walking to most sights?

I think the metro is better and quicker if you hotel is not located near the Seine or near the Opentour bus stops, as i think the Opentour finishes rather early, maybe 6-7 pm maximum, i guess maybe the same for the Batobus which is rather slow. If you only have three days and want to see a lot, then the metro will take you quicker to what you want. If you want to be relaxed and enjoy the views of Paris without rush, then the Batobus and opentour can be good, but i think walking is even better
