Car or Train from Paris to Switzerland?

After we visit the Paris area for a week, we plan to visit Switerland for another week. Should I rent a car to get from Paris to Switzerland or take the train? Is there enough to see along the way to warrant renting a car? There will be four of us traveling together, two are teenagers. Once we are in Switzerland, I thought it might be nice to have a car. Any suggestions?

I would take the TGV to Switzerland, as it only takes about 6 hours and there%26#39;s nothing too spectacular to see on the way.

Once in Switzerland, you don%26#39;t really NEED a car - You can pretty much take the trains almost everywhere. And part of the experience is walking around, so you probably don%26#39;t want to be in a car the whole time. It depends on which cities you%26#39;re visiting, I suppose.
