I will be traveling from Tampa, Florida USA to La Grande-Motte, France on business. What are my best options?

La Grande Motte is right next to Montpellier so you would want to fly into the Montpellier (MPL) airport. I would personally just rent a car and drive from the airport. Its about a 15 minute drive.

Hi
actually Grand Motte is also close to Nimes airport. UK Owners of boats moored at Grande Motte fly to Nimes and get a taxi.
Flight options ( the-languedoc-page.com/tourism/languedoc-tou… )are mainly Ryanair. Ryanair only makes sense if you arrive at Luton, Liverpool or Stansted.
The BA Gatwick - Montpellier flight would be good if you flew into Gatwick. It is now only a summer service.
AF Paris - Montpellier makes sense if you fly into Paris CDG or Orly.
As a last resort you could use Marseille airport, but Marseille to Grande Motte needs several train / bus / taxi changes.
From either Montpellier or Nimes you will probably want to get a taxi to Grande Motte after the long journey. If you want to take more time and save some money you could get a shuttlebus to either station and go by train to Lunel and pick up a taxi there.
There are bus services which also run from the stations (http://www.stdgard.com/accueil %26amp; http://www.cg34.fr/territoire/index.html ). These rural buses stop in every village and are not very frequent.
Bonne chance
Peter
