ticket question

Hi. Does the Tapestry museum offer discounts for teachers? We can get the tickets in advance if we pay the regular admission, through a travel agency. If this would save a long wait in line we would gladly give up any discount. We would be probobly visit the museum on a Monday morning....Thanks for all info, Anita

I don%26#39;t think you will get long queues if you go on a monday morning. Only once did i get to queue fo five minutes and it was on a week-end.

Been staying in Bayeux for the summer from L.A., and have been to Tapestry four!!! times with visitors. Never had to wait in ticket line more than a couple of minutes. Buy here and get the discount!!

When you ngo, skip the boring videos and go straight to the tapestry - the videos are really, really REALLY boring!

The longest line I encountered at the tapestry museum was in the first exhibit where they have a copy of the tapestry with written explanations of each section. It seems everyone felt compelled to read every word and the line moved very slowly. I decided to skip it and went straight to the tapestry itself. The audio headphones gave a great explanation and there was no line.

By the way, parking in Bayeux is worse than anyplace I have ever been. Go early to find a space if you are driving.

I forgot the headphones - yes, you%26#39;re right - they are well worth it, if not indispensable!
