I will be in Paris for 3 days with my mother at the beginning of May, and hope to visit the Louvre on the Saturday. As we have so much to fit into our itinerary we want to save time and have lunch within the museum. What is the best cafe choice for a quick light lunch, we%26#39;re not fussy about the type of food?

There is a small cafe within the Denon wing on the same level as the Mona Lisa. It over looks the Tulleries and the main stair up to the winged victory statue. They sell beverages and baguette sandwiches.

Thank you Beau Arts this sounds like the type of place we are looking for. A view of the Tuilleries sounds like a nice bonus.

There are several restaurants in the Louvre, but my favorite is Café Marly. You enter from the outside to your left facing the pyramide. That%26#39;s the best place.
|||
For FAST there is a food court.
For a little more sophisticated there is cafe Richelieu in Richelieu wing.
And I love Le Grand Louvre for a proper sit down lunch in a quiet and more elegant atmosphere

I actually like that food court. I%26#39;ve never been to a food court that served blanquette de veau before! Yum!

Thank you everyone it looks like I won%26#39;t be short of places to choose from!

Cafe Marly is a favorite of mine,too, but I don%26#39;t think it%26#39;d qualify as quick necessarily..It%26#39;s a great place to spend some time people-watching as well as eating say, a nice club sandwich with the glace...
You will find there are probably several spots in the Louvre or adjoining little mall food court that will meet your needs..If you do decide to eat at Cafe Marly, I suggest making a reservation..Otherwise, you may find yourself on the queue for a half hour or more...
