Could anyone let us know if an accommodation with air conditioning is necessary late July early August in Corsica? Is the heat bearable? Thanks a lot

It will certainly be warm at that time. You may be more comfortable in an air-conditioned hotel or apartment, but in the mountains and away from the coast it%26#39;s likely to be a little cooler. Some Corsican homes, built in the traditional way, keep surprisingly cool even on hot days, but it still pays to keep the shutters closed during the day when you%26#39;re out. We%26#39;ve never considered buying air-conditioning for our own small, traditionally-built apartment on the island. Hope this helps.

Have stayed in Tizzano in the south in late July. It was hot but our villa didn%26#39;t have air con and we were fine.
