Where to stay in Paris

My family (two adults and two teen age children) will be arriving from London on the train on April 16th for 3 nights. It is our 1st trip to Paris and we need a central location in $150 to $200 (U.S. dollars) range per room (2 rooms), inclusive of all taxes. Any suggestions?

You will be aware that April 16 is Easter Sunday, consequently, the city is going to be packed with tourists, since it%26#39;s a long weekend in most European countries (Thu-Mon).

I recommend you check some hotel sites and then narrow down to some 3 or 4, come back here or check the reviews here on TA. Most popular hotels (often small!) may be solid booked by now.

I suggest you look into the following neighbourhoods:

6th (Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Left Bank)

5th (Quartier Latin, Left Bank)

4th (Marais, Right Bank)

Bonne chance!

Try Hotel Lavoisier www.hotellavoisier in the 8th. Their rack rates are a bit over your budget, but they have special rate plans that may or may not work for you. By the way, taxes are surprising low on hotel rooms by American and UK standards.
