Yes I agree with Wilko. You may like to add Fontaine de Vaucluse and the Provencal market at Isle sur Sorgue on to your list. If you stay in the general area near to Isle Surla Sorgue you are close to all the site seeing in the area. Happy holiday

Where do you suggest to stay near Luberon? In june.

Stayed in Arles. Daytripped (rental car) to Avignon (beautiful walled city, papal palace the broken bridge), Fontaine de Vaucluse. (lovely), and Nimes. If allowed another day, I would have gone to Aix en Provence. Arles is beautiful with the coliseum and ampitheatre. Stand at the point where VanGough painted Starry Night /Rhone.

I%26#39;d suggest staying in the St-Rémy/Alpilles region. From there you can visit Arles, Les Baux, the Pont du Gard, Avignon, and the Lubéron villages--think of it as the central point of a circle.

Hi
I can%26#39;t think why anyone would suggest Arles or St Remy as a central point to visit Provence, it does not make sense. Take a look at a map of Provence! You would be better off in Avignon or even Aix. Personally I would stay east of Avignon which gives access to the A7 for Marseille, the Camargue, Aix, Arles, Orange, the Luberon etc. Lastly you should visit the Pont du Gard and Uzes, but as it west of the Rhone it is not, strictly speaking, in Provence.
Have a good trip
