Nice

Hey guys... yes i am for real..why is my existence being doubted..LOL... im frm india.. and this is my first vacation in EUROPE.

Do you guys have more suggestions to staying in Monte carlo, MOnaco or St. tropez.

I had checked the hotel reccommended by you by didnt really get very encouraging reviews.

Im a little confused but at the same time.. extremely grateful for your advise and suggestions. Thankyou once again.

Forget about St-Tropez if you wanna do some sightseeing. Monaco is OK for you according to your 1st post but I%26#39;d rather stay in Nice. You have the choice between Palais Materkinck and the Palais de la Méditerranée if you are still looking for a 4 stars with pool. La Pérouse is also a very nice one, close to the beach and the Old Town, actually better located than the Maeterlinck.

I don%26#39;t know why someone doubted your existence, very strange. As you will see from my other posts, I am a Nice fan too. My favourite Nice hotel is the Palais Maeterlinck, which is situated on the edge of the city in a magnificent situation, about ten minutes by bus or taxi from the centre. There is also a beautiful walk beside the sea and away from the road almost every inch of the way. Stay at the Maeterlinck if you want peace and quiet or La Perouse if you prefer to be in the city. You could also consider the Grand Hotel Du Cap Ferrat if you don%26#39;t mind being further away but do be aware that it is very expensive to eat there.

I wouldn%26#39;t worry about the reviewer who suggested that French customers get slightly preferential treatment at the Maeterlinck. This applies to the vast majority of French hotels.

St Tropez is really only suitable if you want to spend almost all of your time on the beach. Personally, I am not keen on Monte/Monaco, a Mickey Mouse version of a European capital but if you like the ultimate in flash and conspicious consumption, it might be for you.
