nice to cinque terra

Is it possible to easily go to cinque terra from Nice? can it be a day trip???Thankyou for your help :).

The trip from Nice to Chiavari, Italy takes about five hours on three different trains along the French and Italian coasts. There is much to see on this trip such as Monaco, San Remo, Genova and more. So I don%26#39;t know if you would want to make it a day trip only. See www.bahn.de for train schedules.

You really need to spend at least 3 days in Cinque Terre. We spent 2 nights there in 2004 and are going back for 6 in June 2006. We just didn%26#39;t have enough time.

It is magical. We walked part of the trail along the coast, which is just gorgeous. There are trains connecting the towns, then shuttles up into the towns.

Take your time if possible. Check out 5terre.com.

We took the train from Levanto (one town north of Cinque Terre) to Milan then on to Nice. Beware there are 2 train stations in Milan and you need to get off at the right one to make the connection. We didn%26#39;t and had to scramble with all our luggage.
