Nice

Hey thanks for the advise on st.tropez . i was really keen on going there , infact i thought id spent a couple of nights there too. but i guess i shud re think.... im anyways going to visit Monte/monaco as im staying in NICE for 4 nights.

Do you suggest that i can spemd a couple of nights in MONTE/MONACO instead of of 4 nights in NICE alone, if yes, where?

Ok .. also how about negresco in NICE, i ve heard really good abt it.

IS THERE ANY OTHER BEACH AREA IN EUROPE BETTER THAN NICE- any suggestions.

Actually in spending 7 nights in LONDON, 8Nights in SWISS and wana spend another 4-5 nights in a BEACH AREA but cant think of any exotic resort. SPAIN, FRANCE, ITALY any country will do...has to be a suite in a 5 start luxury resort.

Anyways thanks for the all the advise and time put in to help me out, really appreciate it guys.

Spending nights in Monaco are usually much more expensive than in Nice. If budget or modesty are an issue, opt to stay in Nice. Monaco is very quick, cheap and easy to get to from Nice. Nice is bigger and has many more options for accomodations and food.

Beaches. The French Riviera%26#39;s beaches are not beach paradises as one envisions in Thailand, Vietnam, etc. They are not known for large expanses of sandy shorelines. In fact, they are mostly rocky breakers and very small, very crowded private resorts if at all. The closest thing to a beach paradise in Western Europe might be the Atlantic coast of France. [I%26#39;m not familiar with Spain or Portugal so perhaps there are possibilities there too...] La Baule comes to mind. La Baule is where German U-boat submariners used to R%26amp;R. If you look up the typical travel guide, perhaps a 5 star luxury resort may be listed.

Don%26#39;t forget you have to fly from these other countries, unless you have your own plane. Italy would have been an option, especially the island of Sardaigne buit I am not sure about frequencies of flights. If you want beaches go for Nice but if you want sandy beaches the beach in Villefranche would be just fine, so a stay at Palais Maeterlink would help, as it is close to Villefranche. Negresco is all right too and it is on the Promenade des Anglais, quite convenient for the beach.

Cannes would probably interest you but you still have to land in Nice.
