Transportation for Charles de Gaulle airport to Disney...

We have not reserve the air/train transportation from Rome to Paris yet but we would like information on the best and cheapest way to get 5 passengers from Charles de Gaulle Airport to the Marriott Village de%26#39;Ile-de-France, Allee de Orme Rond 77700, Bailly Romainvilliers.

Thank you

Hi iggi2,

Best is subjective. The easiest way is a taxi which could cost around 70-80 euros or so. You could also take the bullet train to Disney which is a 10 minute ride and then catch a taxi from there however I am not sure if this would save you much of anything considering you are 5. Private shuttle is another option.

|||

I just got a quote for a shuttle (Grey Shuttle) for $169 Euro. I thought it was a bit high.

|||

iggi2....thats when we re staying in march!! When are you going to be there?? lemme know what you find to work the best!!

|||

169 is very high. I suppose a taxi could go up to 100 euros depending on traffic but most people report lower. The official website for your hotel states the shuttle fee is 120 euros if arranged with them which might not be a bad option as well. Most taxi%26#39;s in France will not hold 5 people with luggage however there are some minivan taxis and they can often be found at the airport. Arranging a shuttle however would avoid the problem of waiting for a taxi that is the appropriate size.

Are you visiting Paris or Disney? I would encourage you to stay within Paris if you are coming to visit the city. The commute from Marriot village would be most inconvienient.

|||

Iowatofranceorbust we will be at the Marriott Village March 12-19th leaving out of Charles de Gaulle Airport Sunday March 19th. When will you be there?

|||

I guess your PARIS-Beauvais(BVA) plans have changed.

Your best bet is probably going to be to take one of the regular VEA SHUTTLE buses (14 €uro per person x 5 = 70 €uro) from CDG to one of it%26#39;s drop-off points at DLP and then either take a taxi of check with the Marriott Village DIRECTLY to find out if, where and how its DLP shuttle bus picks up for the return to the resort. Their web site mentions, %26quot;...Train Station

Marne-la-Vallee Chessy (5 km N)

Shuttle service, for a fee...%26quot;

Or take a taxi from any of the VEA DLP SHUTTLE stops to your hotel.

The resort%26#39;s web site also mentions--

%26quot;...Shuttle Service from/to Airport at cost.

Shuttle service, fee: 120 EUR...%26quot;.

VEA SHUTTLE INFO--

And just in case your travel plans change yet again, the trains from ROME arrive in Paris at either GARE de LYON (day trains) or GARE de BERCY (overnight/sleeper trains) and the best way to DLP from either will be the RER %26#39;A-4%26#39; train connection (heading in the direction of Marne La Vallee-Chessy--any train with a %26#39;..Q xxx..%26#39; designator--6,20 €uro--38 mins--train frequency approx. 10-15 mins during most of the day %26amp; evening) fron the GARE de LYON RER station, to the end-of-the-ligne at the MARNE-La-VALEE--CHESSY station at the main entrance to DLP...then hotel shuttle or taxi to the resort.

The VEA SHUTTLE also works from ORLY.

The VEA shuttle is an interesting option but you might take into consideration all of the luggage shuffling you will have to do compared to a direct trip for such a small savings. The bullet train (TGV) from CDG to Disney combined with a taxi is another option but again involves moving luggage about for a limited savings. For 5 people I would stick with door to door service.

KDKSAIL Thanks for your help. I mentioned above that we had not sucured the flight from Rome to Paris and I was trying ask for information on both airports. The final plan is....arriving (9:20pm March 11 on Ryan Air) into Paris Via Beauvais Airport, and leaving from Charles De Gaulle airport (March 19 8am). I am still looking for one night (budget) accommodation for a family of five near one of the local attractions. We have 7 nights accommodations for the Marriott at Disney. Thank you.

70 €uro for the VEA SHUTTLE vs. approx. 120-to-170 €uro for an airport shuttle service is hardly a %26quot;..small saving..%26quot;

But the TGV from the train station at CDG #2 to the GARE de MARNE-La-VALLEE / CHESSY station (14,20 €uro--OffPeak--10-11 mins) is a GREAT alternative.

Okay, let me see if I got the last bit of info. When we arrive from Rome at 9:20pm into Beauvais (BVA) Airport...we should take a shuttle to the train station at CDG airport in Gare de Marne- la-Vallee/Chessy Station?

Is Saturday 9:29pm considered peak time. I%26#39;m confused as to why I would go from BVA Airport to CDG airport, is it cheaper?
