Travel from CDG airport to local Hotel

1st trip to Paris - staying at hotel in the fashion district, near the Louvre. What is the best way to get from the airport to our hotel?

The best way to travel from CDG to your

hotel is by Taxi Parisien.

Out Gate 18 into the short line.

With 2 people and 4 bags last

September it was E38.50.

No transfers, stairs, bags

lost, waiting for others

to be dropped off first.

If this is your first trip to Paris, and you can spend the money, the Taxi Parisien suggestion is the easiest way.

If you%26#39;re a little braver about trying new things, I personally recommend taking the RER train into the city, it%26#39;s a lot cheaper, and during rush hour you might actually beat the taxi into the city. But I don%26#39;t think the train from CDG is for the faint-of-heart the first time around.

An alternative is the Roissy bus from CDG to central Paris, not as easy as a taxi, easier than the train, not as cheap as the train.

Hands down...no question %26#39;bout it...the %26quot;..best way..%26quot; to make the transfer between CDG and central Paris will be a discrete, chauffer-driven, Mercedes Benz S-Class sedan. But for those wanting something a bit more modest, there are SEVERAL other excellent options/alternatives to suit, depending upon your own personal preferences, priorities, special needs, number of persons/amount of luggage in your party and budget. What are yours??

TAXI PARISIEN

AIRPORT SHUTTLE Services

AIR FRANCE COACH #2 %26amp; #4

ROISSYBUS

ROISSYRAIL--RER %26#39;B%26#39; ligne train

Which one of these excellent alternatives to %26quot;..the best..%26quot; will depend in some part on where your final destination hotel/address will be in Paris.

Thank you all so much for the prompt replies! My husband%26#39;s never been abroad - I%26#39;ve been all over on business but never had play time. For his birthday, I%26#39;ve surprised him with the basics - London, Paris %26amp; Rome in 16 days ;-) Any knowledge you could share on nightlife activities, restaurants, sites, would be greatly appreciated!
