restaurants near rue monge

I am going to Paris next week. Staying in Rue Monge. Iam going with 3 girls and we don%26#39;t want to walk too far at night. Anyone recommend a good restaurant in our area.

I recommend chez %26#39;carte d%26#39;orange.%26#39;

That way, you don%26#39;t have to walk far and can choose a restaurant based on its food and service, and not on its proximity to your hotel. Many more options that way ;)

How old are the girls? I agree it%26#39;s often nice to stay in the neighborhood and not crowd four people onto the metro.

Just across from the Cardinal-Lemoine metro entrance is a nice caasual place, Le Petit Cardinal. A few doors down the hill is Kookai, a small Afghan restaurant--the people are very nice.

Rue Mouffetard nearby, is full of restaurants of all kinds, and crowded with pedestrians.

Rue des Ecoles is not far, and has a great pizzeria, just after you cross rue de la Montagne St. Genevieve.

For a family-oriented vegetarian restaurant there is Jardin des Pates on rue Lacepede, just past rue de Navarre.

I am in agreement that it is often nice to be able to walk back and forth to dinner at night. On the Rue Monge you will have plenty of options!

In addition to Rue Mouffetard there is the adjacent Place Contrescarpe. And the charming in nice weather Rue du Pot-de-Fer.

Les Vignes du Pantheon, 4 Rue de Fosses St Jacques is a very authentic, neighborhood spot. Other spots near the Pantheon. Just stroll around the neighborhood a bit during the day and you%26#39;ll find many spots you can choose from depending on your preferences and budget.

Enjoy!

Thanks everyone, really looking forward to our trip
