Which Lyon Hotel?

tryingto select a Lyon Hotel with airconditioning for three days in June. Minimal information on Sofitel Lyon Royal, Hotel des Artistes and more expensive, Hotel Tour Rose. Any of these or other suggestions. Would like good location, great beds and quiet.

If you are considering hotels in the price range of Tour Rose, the Villa Florentine is a very lovely place. Villa Florentine is on a hill, across the street from a park. La Tour Rose is wedged into the main street of the old quarter. I think VF has air conditioning. It has a gorgeous pool. You might want to check out the comments in the hotel section.

Thanks for suggestion on Villa Florentine. I had ruled it out as one of the write ups mentioned a large number of stairs to get to and from the Villa.

My wife and I will be in Lyon in early May. Did you find a hotel and how was your stay. We have a lot of experiance in Paris and Zurich but this is our first time in Lyon. Thank%26#39;s Rusty Barnett

LYON is a great city, you can have the special and unic view of the city from the Radisson sas hotel. All rooms are with a view and the hotel is next to the city center, (10 minutes from the rhone).

it is not the best hotel of the city but it is realy a nice experience.

We have decided on the Lyon Sofitel Royal. It has what we want and can accomodate some friends who also need rooms. the smaller hotels were too booked. Won%26#39;t be there till June and will give feedback after that.

Check out the Lyon tourist page for discounts on hotels.
