Help with stopover in CDG

Hi everyone, and thanks for any help you can provide. We are flying from Boston to CDG, arriving at terminal c? and flying out of terminal f? to Rome at the end of April. Do we go through cusoms at CDG and if so, where is it? How do we get from C to F?

Thank you.

Anyone?

You%26#39;ll be going through Customs and Immigration (which takes the longest) on arrival at CDG. Since you%26#39;ll be changing terminals I imagine that you%26#39;ll have to do departure Immigration and go And I assume you%26#39;re talking about the same day.

You%26#39;ll have to go through Immigration and clear Customs on your arrival at CDG. Both are located not too far from your arrival gate, and expect Immigration to take the longest. Assuming you%26#39;re flying on to Rome the same day I imagine that you%26#39;ll have to go through Security and then departure Immigration at the second terminal, but could be wrong about that.

You get from terminal C to terminal F by taking the shuttle that runs around the airport. I hope you have at least 2 hours between flights!

Interesting,

I have been reading the Italy Forum and

travellers who have done a similar trip

(stopping over in CDG on the way to Rome)

said they did not have to go through

customs or immigration until they got

to Rome.

Sorry to confuse the issue Leo31.

It has been some time since I have flown from Paris to Italy but I tend to believe that one is required to pass through all the formalities at CDG prior to continuing on to another destination. Otherwise how would the authorities in Italy ascertain with certainty who has and who has not formally entered into the EEOC. (The French passengers to my knowledge have no requirement to pass through customs in Italy.)

If a transient passenger does not clear customs/immigration in CDG, when does he do it and how is he kept separate from those who have no requirement to do so? Though seemingly unlikely, perhaps the flight to Italy contains no locally boarded passengers.
