Hotel Du Louvre or Prince de Galles Hotel in August??

Hello -

I am planning a four-night stay in Paris with my husband in August. This will be my second time in Paris and his first time. I%26#39;ve stayed at Hotel Du Louvre last time and absolutely loved its proximity to everything else.

I%26#39;ve heard weather might be a bit hot and humid in August. Both hotels advertises AC but has anyone stayed in either hotels in the summer and have any comments about the condition?

I recommend the HOtel du Louvre ...We enjoyed our stay there but it wasn%26#39;t in summer..It was in March...I%26#39;d think this four star would have its a/c in hand but if it doesn%26#39;t, you could complain to the front desk and perhaps they could push the magic button that would fix it...That might be the on/off switch!....Seems to work in other hotels...I can%26#39;t remember if we needed ours that visit or not..I doubt it...rather chilly...Location is great on Hotel du Louvre...

Can%26#39;t speak to the other possibility because I haven%26#39;t stayed there...
