Choosing Left Bank Hotel: l'Abbaye, d'Aubusson, Duc de...

So we%26#39;ve narrowed it down to these four: l%26#39;Abbaye, d%26#39;Aubusson, Duc de Saint-Simon and Luxembourg Parc. They%26#39;re obviously all charming hotels, but now we need to make a decision for our family%26#39;s 5 day stay in Paris in early July. It%26#39;s me, my wife and two teenage daughters. Here%26#39;s what we%26#39;re looking for specifically:

1. Quiet. My wife is very noise sensitive. If she can%26#39;t sleep, she%26#39;s not happy. If she%26#39;s not happy, I%26#39;m not happy. :-) The ideal would be to be on a perfectly quiet street with some fun activity close by.

2. Interior courtyard. We%26#39;d like to have a nice place to start and end our days. We know that the Saint-Simon and Aubusson have nice courtyards. Does anyone know about the Luxembourg Parc or l%26#39;Abbaye?

3. Room Size. We don%26#39;t need a palace, but I%26#39;m not sure we%26#39;d be happy with a shoebox either.

4. Accessability. This trip will be my daughters%26#39; first visit to Paris, so we%26#39;ll be taking in many of the most prominent sites.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

With your different criteria (especially regarding the noise issue), I%26#39;d go with the Duc de Saint-Simon. It%26#39;s not in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, but still very well located (M°: Rue du Bac).
